Surf World Gold Coast is a museum dedicated to celebrating the history of surfing, along with an extensive collection of boards and classic memorabilia, this museum gives you an in-depth view into the origins of surfing. Surf World highlights the evolution of surfboard design and technology from the 30’s throughto today.

There is also a section dedicated specifically Chris Bystrom, showing original, cameras, movies and editing equipment!

This museum really has something for everyone and is a must see if you are ever on the Gold Coast. It is located on Tomewin Street (opposite the Currumbin Bird Sanctuary) in Currumbin on the Gold Coast of Australia.
